Oh Anthony, Laugh. Because Tom Delay’s statement was art, pure unadulterated performance art, the kind only government money could buy. It was the political equivalent of taking one’s clothes off on stage and smearing one’s self with chocolate while reciting politically correct blank verse. Or putting a copy of the Federal Budget in a bucket of piss and taking a picture of it.
Small wonder the GOP refuses to do away with the National Endowment for the Arts!
