Ahh, the UN’s Law o’ The Sea. Keep in mind, if mineral resources on or under the sea are “common property,” and there ends up being significant amount of crude oil in deepwater outside of national economic zones (as some think may be), then that could lead to a UN funded by oil rents from open-ocean, deep water oil wells.
