The Claremontistas and various other neoconmen who (almost) always hysterically oppose secession never oppose the secession of South Korea from North Korea, or Taiwan from Communist China, since these are helpful puppet-states of the empire. They are also very quiet about the peaceful secession of the former Soviet “republics” that put an end to the U.S.S.R. as a competing empire. Those were apparently “good” secessions. Thus, what they say about secession is not based on principle, but is designed as propaganda in support of the warfare state. That’s why they lie so much about American history, and tell the biggest lies of all about Lincoln and the “civil war.”
It’s almost enough to make one suspect that the Claremont Institute, National Review, and other neocon Lincoln-worshipping outfits are part of a CIA mis-information campaign.
