re: Revealing the State’s Wrongdoing

Bush is apoplectic over the news of his dictatorial spying on phone calls and financial transactions being made public. And the neocon house organ, the Weekly Standard, wants to bring treason charges against the NY Times.

This is useful in reminding us about the classification scam. Is there any American who thinks his phone calls, let alone his wire transfers, are immune from federal spying? Would a terrorist think so? Government actions (crimes) are classified Secret to keep them from the American people, not real or purported enemies.
