5:09 pm on March 27, 2009In the interest of accuracy might I suggest referring to all future “budget deficits” as “spending surpluses”? Seems to put things into perspective as it assigns blame where it belongs, with the spenders.
For instance: – New York Governor David Paterson said next year’s record spending surplus may be $3 billion greater than the $16.2 billion he announced earlier this week.
