In reading this commentary in TNR, I am reminded once again of the utter arrogance of the Progressives. Government has DONE SOMETHING! Therefore, it is axiomatic: GOVERNMENT CANNOT BE AT FAULT.

What also is interesting is to see how many Progressives have embraced inflation as The Solution. These people really believe that if government debases the currency and destroys savings, that it will magically “save” the economy. And then they have the nerve, the gall, to say that anyone who disagrees with them is a “nut job.” We are dealing with people who are so arrogant that they simply are incapable of learning anything.
