James is certainly correct about Gravel, a lifelong Democrat, but I was very impressed with Gravel’s answer to the question about U.S. troops in other countries. I don’t remember the exact question or his exact answer, but I do remember that he wants to bring all the troops home now and not ever send any back. The other candidates for the most part were not as clear, didn’t fully answer the question, and added other comments unrelated to the question.
