Bob:  I am so saddened to hear of Muso’s death.  He was not only an energetic entrepreneur of libertarian ideas, but — along with his wife — one of the most charming people I have met.  My family and I spent a week or so with the Ayaus in Guatemala City in 1975, during which time I presented a few talks at the university.  They drove us around the Guatemala countryside and to other towns.  The Ayaus had tremendous respect for the Indian culture we visited.  In one village, Muso remarked that “if you lost your wallet in this town, it would be returned to you, intact.”

I last saw this wonderful man a few years ago at a free-market economics conference in Las Vegas.  His thinking, his personality, and his seemingly boundless energy will be missed by all who love liberty.
