Tom, in your post yesterday you make an excellent point that bears repeating. Though I commonly refer to Obama’s over-the-top egomania (a difference between him and the Bushmeister), you mention that Obama is an egomaniac who wrote his autobiography while still in his early 30s. Not only that, but he hadn’t done anything remarkable in his life that would warrant such a book. But it is often said that “his time at the Law Review had netted him an offer to write a book.” That is, his time at the Law Review, where his name does not appear on any legal scholarship.
