Lew:  I have never understood why anyone, be they pro- or anti-gay marriage, would want the state to define their relationships with one another.  If genetic research – and why is the state so interested in this? – can establish predispositions for behavior, will the state be allowed to license who can/cannot get married, or have children?  Most of humanity has already adopted the mindset of sheep: will the state now be entitled – pursuant to the practices of animal husbandry – to control the breeding of humans so as to produce hybrids suitable for corporate-state purposes?
