re: Good Gun Control: Disarm the Police

Stephen, when I lived in Oklahoma City in the 1970s, there was a police strike. As you might expect, the crime rate plummeted, and when the embarrassment helped end the strike, crime was soon back to “normal.” Also in that decade, there was a government doctors strike in Israel. It ended when the undertakers picketed the headquarters of the doctors union to protest the declining death rate and their lack of business. That strike was soon over as well, and so was the vacation for death.
