Tex, I can confirm that all three fundraising events yesterday in the Bay Area were geek-heavy: full of smart, successful young people from the tech industries. All hail capitalism! Wired misleads only in one sense: there was a significant number of Asian-Americans among them.
BTW: About 200 enthusiatic, sign-carrying young people accompanied Ron on a walk from his breakfast fundraiser to his luncheon event. I never thought I’d be part of Republican parade on the streets of San Francisco chanting antiwar slogans!
