Today’s Walter Williams’s article — properly criticizing Paul Krugman’s nonsense about people being forcibly obliged to provide for one another’s health care costs — reminds me of Frank Chodorov’s wonderful response to someone who once asked: “But what will become of the elderly who cannot care for themselves?”  Chodorov answered: “They’ll be allowed to die in the streets as was done in the past.” The questioner then asked: “When was that ever done?,” and Chodorov came back: “Precisely!”
