Over at Rotten Tomatoes, I see that only 6% of critics have given Atlas Shrugged Part I a favorable rating.
In fairness, though, I would expect most of these critics to review the book the same way. Was there any chance, no matter how good the adaptation was, that the big-government leftist Roger Ebert would give it a thumbs up?
Audience members — or at least people who claim to have seen it — so far give it an 86% favorable rating.
