William and Anthony just a few hours ago a parade of “anti-war” democrats, including Barbara Lee, marched to the House floor in support of US intervention in Darfur. Opponents of the Iraq war claim Durfur is different because it is a “humanitarian” intervention, even though Sadam’s violations of human rights was one of Bush’s main justifications for the Iraq war. So will the allegedly “anti-war” Democrats support a future Democratic President when she launches undeclared wars, spies on the American people, and authorizes torture for “humanitarian” reasons? To ask the question is to answer it.
