But Lew, didn’t the Mahatma recently, speaking like a subdued CNBC market analyst, tell us that now is the time to buy, buy, buy? Lots of good deals out there for long-term investors? Assuming, I suspect, they aren’t planning on investing in major banks… or GM … or AIG … or, well, whatever.
I’m certain something out there must be a good long-term investment. After all, the Mahatma said so. Surely the bringer of hope wouldn’t lie to us, would he?
