Businessman Munir Hussain hit a knife-wielding burglar — one of three who had broken into his home and terrorized his family — with a cricket bat. So Mr. Hussain was sentenced to 30 months in prison for injuring the aggressor. Now he has been released after a year, and the rest of his sentence suspended.
