Pro-Life…Until Birth

It’s rather disgusting to see the worst of the warmongering politicians clamoring for political points on the gruesome and breathtakingly macabre story of baby killer extraordinaire Kermit Gosnell, who seemed to take pleasure in his grisly profession of murder.

Witness Rep. Trent Franks, who jumped upon his Twittering high horse to machine gun his “pro-life” position into the faces of his “opponents” on the pro-death side:

But Franks is in reality on the pro-death side as well. It’s all just a matter of timing. He has never met a sanction he did not enthusiastically embrace, never met a drone he did not fall in love with, never met a US war (with minor exceptions for some parts of “Obama’s wars”) he did not vote for. See for example his vote “Relating to the liberation of the Iraqi people and the valiant service of the United States Armed Forces and Coalition forces, ” which “affirms that the United States and the world have been made safer with the removal of Saddam Hussein and his regime from power in Iraq.”

The tens of thousands of innocent children killed by the US invasion of Iraq do not bother Rep. Franks in the slightest, because they had the misfortune of being born in a country where the US dislikes the leader. They don’t count — just like the live babies stabbed to death by Doctor Death Gosnell. They don’t count. That puts him in the “the price was worth it” camp, i.e. the same relativistic camp that argues that some lives are more important than others.
