Presidential Powers

This is from my lecture on presidential powers as part of my constitutional law class:

All in all, Article II creates a truly powerful executive with sole power over the executive branch but also substantial power over the other two branches as well. There is a reason why the press, public and historians all believe that the President is the dominant branch of the federal government and has been for some time. That’s because it’s true!
