The Government will use the ruling that the current design of Federal Reserve Notes violates the rights of the blind as an excuse to step up the war on cash. I would not even be surprised to see a recall of all existing dollars, and a ban on the use of the old, “discriminatory” currency in favor of a new, non-discriminatory form of government-issued legal tender. Perhaps Bernanke will use his helicopter to distribute these “equity” dollars.
