I think by and large we all agree that LRC does far more than merely preach to the choir; I’ve seen my articles here linked at all different kinds of sites with all different kinds of ideologies. A great many people have had their entire ideologies changed by the site.

But let’s not forget: the choir does need some preaching from time to time! Even if we were “preaching to the choir,” that in itself wouldn’t make our work a waste of time. Our own people need the morale boost of seeing intelligent responses being written to neocon ignorance. Speaking for myself, I don’t have the answers to everything, and I certainly benefit from reading what LRC writers have to say in their particular areas of expertise.
