Pittsburgh Rally

Amy, Anna, Will and I attended the Ron Paul rally tonight in Pittsburgh. Several people estimated the enthusiastic crowd at about 800. They erupted in applause and standing ovations as Ron explained his agenda of peace and freedom: US out of Iraq; IRS out of the US; back to hard money; abolish the Department of “Education”. Amy thought it was brilliant that Ron contrasted how our own bridges are crumbling but we have the money to destroy Iraq’s bridges and then re-build them.

Ron has roots in the Northeast and had supporters here from Ohio and Eastern PA. His brother lives in Orchard Park where the Buffalo Bills play. Lenny Roberto, founder of the Upstate NY tax revolt group Primary Challenge was there along with about two dozen folks from Buffalo. We invited Ron to come up any time. Len and I both believe Ron can win the critical winner-take-all NY primary on February 5th.
