Chris Mathews interviewed Richard Perle tonight on his show, and asked him who he thinks should replace Condoleeza Rice should she become the new secretary of state. If the president wants someone with “deep experience,” he said, “he should appoint Paul Wolfowitz.”
What a shocker. Should this happen, it’ll be so “deep” in the West Wing that the Prez will have to wear hip waders to avoid despoiling his cowboy boots.
