Today the House passed a phony PATRIOT Act “reform” bill that even Arlen Specter calls “cosmetic.” Passage of this bill sets the stage for Bush to sign the legalization reauthorizing the PATRIOT Act into law.

The PATRIOT Act renewal legislation also contains provisions expanding the war on drugs by, among other things, treating those with bad sinus as potential drug kingpins.
