Pathetic Dems

Ralph Raico, who is seldom wrong on elections (or anything else), thinks the Democrats might as well go home. One of their mistakes, he notes, was to run a nicey-nice convention, in which criticism of the Cheney-Bush junta was forbidden. The Republicans, who had promised to bring a new, civil tone to politics, set out to eviscerate Kerry at their convention and through the “Swift Boat” scam, and succeeded. Karl Rove’s strategy, notes Ralph, was to add as Republican voters the white males of the Midwest to the white males of the solid South, and it’s worked.
