Over The Hill

So, a writer for The Hill believes that voters should settle for such great minds as Romney, Perry, or Huntsman, lest we end up with the likes of Tom Woods and Judge Napolitano. I suspect there must have been a scribbler or two during the American Revolutionary War who would have advised colonials to stick with such leaders as Alexander Hamilton and Benedict Arnold, otherwise we might end up with Thomas Jefferson, Sam Adams, and James Madison.

The Hill writer may have a good point: Perhaps future GOP debates should consist of Ron Paul, Gary Johnson, Tom Woods, and Judge Napolitano discussing their respective views and alternatives! I bet that would generate greater interest than what we find in Romney, Perry, Cain, Bachmann, Gingrich, and the other establishment sock-puppets telling us how the status quo is “for the best, in this best of all possible worlds.”
