One Worthless Agency Bosses Another

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued 14 notices of unsafe or unhealthful working conditions” to the TSA regarding Boston’s Logan Airport. OSHA’s trespassing and prying “identified several instances where TSA employees at Logan were exposed to finger crushing and amputation hazards …; electrical hazards from misused electrical equipment at checkpoints and inspection rooms; and fire-related hazards…”

Yay! Let these thugs lose a few fingers or even suffer an electrocution or two. Maybe that’ll teach ’em to keep their hands to themselves.

Meantime, “Brenda Gordon, OSHA’s area director for Boston and Southeastern Massachusetts” prattled, “Employees who work daily to protect the traveling public also deserve protection against on-the-job hazards, each and every day.” Oh, indeed. Here’s hoping OSHA protects the TSA’s goons as thoroughly as the goons protect passengers.
