While I am not an enthusiast for voting — or engaging in any form of electoral politics — one of the goofiest reasons I have heard a few GOPers give for not voting for Ron Paul goes like this: “Romney is going to win the nomination anyway, so why waste my vote on Ron Paul?” If the underlying premise is true — and I am still predicting that Jeb Bush will be the party nominee — then it would seem voting for ROMNEY is the waste of time. On the assumption that Romney WILL win the nomination, what is a voter to gain by adding his/her ballot to the total? Voting for Ron would be the closest one could get to the choice “none of the above,” as the three other candidates are right out of the same photo-copier!
