I get so tired of the politicized nitwits who keep talking about government programs to “grow the economy.”  Such people should learn what any botanist can tell them: “a tree does not grow from the top down.”  The best way to facilitate production and growth in an economy is the same method used in the raising of children: get the hell out of their way!
