The Federal Register for Monday, November 19, 2012, quietly advises that “TSA also is creating and maintaining a watch list of individuals who are disqualified from eligibility from TSA Pre✓TM…”
Muse on that, if you will. “Pre✓” [sic for “PreCheck] is one of the TSA’s more insidious programs. On the one hand, it inherently damns its sponsoring agency by promising to return enrollees to the halcyon days before the TSA cursed aviation: if you qualify, you may keep your shoes and belt on and your laptop in its case as you waltz through a metal-detector. (The TSA itself warns that it will still “randomly” harass and sexually assault everyone, even PreCheck’s lucky few, and dissatisfied “clients” confirm that the agency often denies them the hassle-free boarding about which PreCheck brags.)
On the other, millions of frequent flyers have applied to PreCheck in the hope of mitigating the abuse they suffer at the airport. But now, with breathtaking irony, the TSA discloses that anyone it rejects winds up on yet another of the police-state’s watchlists, his agony at the airport even worse than before.
What do we learn from this, serfs? Never, ever cooperate with any of Leviathan’s programs, no matter how sweet the enticements. Never.2:04 pm on December 3, 2012 Email Becky Akers
