Sen. Chuck Schumer is being criticized by conservatives for refusing to answer whether he has read Obamacare’s 10,535 pages of regulations. Other Democratic supporters of Obamacare have recently been asked the same question. Of course they haven’t read them. Members of Congress don’t even read the bills that they pass that are the basis of the regulations. My only question for conservatives is this: How many Republicans did you talk to in 2003 about Bush’s Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act that expanded Medicare beyond LBJ’s wildest dreams?
