At the summit, Obama “also announced a new public-private partnership linking major corporations like the Gap Inc. and McDonald’s with community colleges to improve job training. Obama said the privately funded Skills for America’s Future program would make it easier to connect job-seeking students and businesses looking to hire.”

‘Public-private partnership’? Isn’t there a shorter and funner word for that? I’m just glad state schools are finally going back to their original Prussian purpose: making people just educated enough to be either govt. workers or automatons for the big corporations, but not so educated that they won’t be obedient.
