Obamacare and Romneycare Expand Moronic Economics

To me, it is a great shame whenever the U.S. government embarks upon or extends policies that are economically irrational and moronic. This is especially the case when the legislators could, if they were not morons or acting like morons, learn the appropriate economics quite easily. They might read George Reisman’s Capitalism.

The oil price controls of the 70s and 80s and the totally irrational actions taken with regard to the Arab Oil Embargo come to mind. The continuing destruction of free markets in health care is a prominent example today.

It’s also a great shame that so many people pay attention to faux economistes like Krugman. Paul Krugman’s moronic statements on the economics of health care and his endorsements of Obamacare match his moronic ideas about inflation and government spending as ways to end recessions and create strong economies.
