North Korea has done us all a big favor by detonating a nuclear weapon. This demonstration project reminds us how the power of the State magnifies human irrationality and dumbness. These blokes cannot think of any other way to make themselves happy than by explosions? Or any other way to make money than by selling nuclear weapons and rockets? Or blackmailing and intimidating others? Sick. How dumb and crazy are they? Just as dumb and crazy as our own Dr. Strangeloves. A nuclear bomb is, so far, the ultimate irrational weapon which has no other purpose than to wipe out hundreds of thousands of civilians more efficiently than the conventional irrational war does. The doomsday device will be next, or the germ that kills everyone.
