I guess I am stunned to read the comments by an ignorant reader that people from LRC have not “walked the walk,” given what I know about many of the people who write for this blog. I’ll mention only one person who has paid the price many times over, and that is Laurence Vance.

Because of his writings and his viewpoints, Laurence has been thrown out of his church, fired from a teaching job, and ostracized and threatened within his community. The man has received death threats (and I daresay some of them were credible) and has faced personal and financial hardship because of the courageous stands he has taken. For someone to claim that this man has not “walked the walk” is utterly obscene.
