Casey, Brown was not fired. He has not lost his job. He has merely been removed as the head of hurricane relief and recovery operations. He still heads FEMA, he’s still getting paid, will probably continue to be paid even after he’s left gummint for the wonderful “private sector” work that awaits him helping some company or corporation land gummint contracts. In a few months, when all this blows over.
And Brown will likely get a presidential medal of freedom later this year. Or should I say a Hero of Socialist Labor? Or the Order of the Red Banner? Or the Lenin Prize?
