If it turns out that our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, and those brave individuals who sit at a desk and operate Predator Drones, don’t get paid when the government “shuts down,” then they should do what every regular civilian does when he doesn’t get paid—don’t work. Especially since work in this case is killing people and breaking things.
