“No Nukes for Iran” is the name of a teen group with chapters in 26 states on both high school and college campuses. It was started by Danielle Flaum. Here is the website. I don’t see this online, but in the current issue of the magazine Israel My Glory (a magazine I read and like–except for nonsense like this), there is a story about Danielle and her group. There I read the most outrageous statement about Iran that I have ever seen:
Danielle, now in college, said Ahmadinejad poses the same type of threat as Adolf Hitler who murdered 6 million Jewish people without nuclear weapons. “Ahmadinejad, armed with the power of nuclear weapons, can definitely be as destructive,” she said.
But I thought the US killed Hitler in Iraq? I thought the US killed Hitler in Pakistan? Wait a minute, I thought Hitler just died today in North Korea. Or perhaps he is alive and well in Cuba or Venezuela? These Hitler analogies are getting old. Is Ahmadinejad a bad guy? Certainly. But Bush was and Obama is more of a danger to the American people than he is.
