No Darwinist Left Behind

Liberals, Neocons, and regime libertarians are all having a fit over Bush’s statement on teaching intelligent design. Bush would have earned this criticism had he proposed using the Department of Education to force local schools to teach intelligent design, but in fact, Bush simply said that the decision of whether or not to teach intelligent design should be made by local school boards and parents.

Is it to much to hope that Bush’s new found love of local control of education will lead him to renounce No Child Left Behind?
