The Taliban launched an offensive not long ago that has penetrated supposedly secure areas. If they were secure, would NATO Secretary General Rasmussen now be calling for an increase in the military budgets for Afghanistan and projecting years more of a NATO presence? This is a direct response to the Taliban. It shows the lack of success of NATO in creating a puppet government that rules a peaceful Afghanistan.
The schools in which the Empire trains its political and military operatives in empire-building apparently suffer from the same kinds of defects as American universities. The courses in State-Destruction 101, State-Building 102, Population Loyalty 201, Securing the Countryside 202, and Minimizing Collateral Damage 203 all need to be heavily revised. A new course in Preventing Suicide Bombings 204 needs to be introduced.
