My way or the highway

I don’t know much about Pakistan but…..

It seems to me like it’s one of those artificial states unlike say, Poland, that has no real organic nature but is simply a creation of the modern state system and/or colonialism.

Isn’t it bloody obvious that Pakistan, qua state, should not exist; that in a state it’s the state’s way or the highway; that this type of state superimposed on twenty different tribes and two or more religions or different sects of the same religion, is a formula for constant war, the war of all against war that the state was, fat chance, supposed to cure?

And what’s really galling is that mediocrities like David Shuster, have the, sorry Lew, I was about to swear, “nerve” to give his intellectual superior Ron Paul, a chance to “clarify” his correct views on Pakistan, shared by the late Benazir Bhutto.

David, you’re not one-tenth as smart as you think you are!

Here’s some reading assignments for you.
