More Raw Milk Alarmism

Mother Jones has published an article in the September/October issue, “Is Raw Milk Really Good for You?” A Mother Jones editor who had been drinking raw milk without incident suddenly became afraid of it because of a few alleged illnesses caused by raw milk pathogens and the surrounding media hype. I say “alleged” because sources of the pathogens in many of these cases are never proven.

In contrast, the Real Food Eater blog has been putting up some good pieces that highlight the benefits of raw milk over pasteurized milk. “Raw Milk Reasons Part 3” cites the nutrition benefits of milk that hasn’t been stripped of its goodness by the industrial food machine.
