More on Media Biases

Lew and Butler, I think we are about to find that the talking heads like Olbermann and Maddow and others will suddenly come to believe that their president is above the law. Yes, the people who decried the Bush presidency and all its abuses are going to be cheerleaders for the abuses of the upcoming Obama administration.

But, it gets even worse. On the Faux News side, we will suddenly find an abhorrence for imperial presidents, overseas wars, and government economic intervention. And, they will re-discover liberty. They will awaken from their Bush trance and be denouncing the jack-booted police raids and heavy-handed police tactics that are sure to come with this upcoming administration, which has appointed a “climate czar” in belief that The Chosen One has control over the weather.(However, I will say in defense of Faux that it does have Andrew Napolitano. Can anyone imagine MSNBC or CNN having a true civil libertarian like Napolitano on their payroll? For that matter, can anyone imagine an MSN commentator like Napolitano?)

So, sit back and watch, as it should be interesting. Of course, there is one little problem, and that is the fact that Obama and Congress already have declared their affinity for the “Fairness Act,” and there is a real possibility it will become law. That means that if Faux or any other news channel strays too far off the statist reservation, they could be in real trouble.
