Lew: What was most disgusting about the anti-Limbaugh remarks made by this woman was neither the gross indecency of the comments, nor the god-king’s enjoyment of same, but the approval given by members of the White House Correspondents Association – i.e., media toadies – in whole-hearted laughter. I wonder what the response of these sycophants would have been had an Obama-critic directed them against Obama? The speaker would most likely have been swarmed by Secret Service agents and hauled from the auditorium.
And there are people – many in the media – who rightfully condemned members of the Bush administration for their fundamental crudeness!
