Lew, all I can say is WOW!   The incisive Suzan Mazur/Doug Valentine interview, “The CIA, Narcotics & the Underworld,” posted today at LRC is my kind of stuff.  It provides yet another brief glimpse into that dark “hidden history” which has been closely held from view by establishment gatekeepers, forbidden to light-bearing chroniclers hoping to illuminate the truth.   Another recent revelatory interview LRC patrons will want to absorb is this one conducted by noted researcher Dave Emory with best-selling authors Sterling and Peggy Seagrave concerning their phenomenal book, Gold Warriors:  America’s Secret Recovery of Yamashita’s Gold.   The Seagraves are among our top-ranked investigative journalists, authors of such classics as The Soong Dynasty, The Marcos Dynasty, and The Yamato Dynasty.  Their latest book is Red Sky in the Morning:  The Secret History of Two Men Who Got Away — And One Who Didn’t.  Not surprisingly, Doug Valentine and Sterling Seagrave are long-time colleagues, as Sterling pointed out to me in an email correspondence early last year.  “Ye Shall Know The Truth, And The Truth Shall Set You Free.” (John 8:32)  CIA director Allen Dulles had this famous biblical verse chiseled over the entryway of the  Agency’s headquarters in McLean, Virginia.  Dulles was fired by JFK because of his duplicitous mishandling of the Bay of Pigs fiasco, yet subsequently served on the Warren Commission investigation of Kennedy’s assassination.  So much for the liberating power of official truth.
