I wonder if the “mommy gene” might also begin producing mothers who love their children more than they do the state, and will want to protect their babies from being ground up and digested by the war machine? I have seen mother birds engaging in all kinds of distracting displays in efforts to lead threats away from their chicks. Who knows, in time such genetic traits may start showing up in humans in Orange County!
