Missouri #45!

Happy news from my home state:
“JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Missouri became the 45th state in the nation to allow most of its citizens the right to carry a concealed handgun after state lawmakers overrode Gov. Bob Holden’s veto of an earlier bill.”

What I think is remarkable about so many states passing concealed carry is that if you only read the national media you might be unaware that slowly, state by state, Americans are moving away from gun control in this important area. Unfortunately, Missouri, like most states, requires you to pay money to the state governement and be put on a list for exercising your natural right to protect yourself. But still… Great news! Kudos to John Lott for his continuing work on this.
