Military Skills

We often hear about how we should hire veterans because skills learned in the military can be applied to many civilian jobs. This Navy SEAL who “worked in Central and South America has pleaded guilty to conspiring to smuggle drugs into the U.S. after he was nabbed with bricks of cocaine in Miami.” And as veteran T.M. comments: “I’m sure it’s not because he’s a libertarian and he believes there should be no drug laws and that people should be free to put whatever they want in their bodies, but because he wanted to make big bucks, and quickly, and his military skills were an asset to him in this regard.”
