Casey, when I was in the US Army in Panama, we understood that there was a market in one of the seedier corners of Panama City (a city with many seedy corners) where everything military you ever needed you could buy. Lose a piece of gear? Need a box of skillcraft pens? Military forms? Boots? Uniforms? Spare parts?
The US military is an interesting institution. It creates socialism wherever it goes. And right along behind that, is the market, filling in for what socialism always fails at.
