Michelle Obama: Powermongering “for the children”

The Obamas are going over to Copenhagen to pitch Chicago as the site for the 2016 Olympics. They are doing it for the corrupt and omnipotent Chicago political regime which supplied them with their political launch pad. They are doing it for themselves because they are self-absorbed in their newfound power and attention to their minority rise. They are doing it because they are empowered politicians with an ideological and personal agenda fulfilling their needs for attention, power, and wealth. But according to the Mrs., it’s all “for the kids.” Her trip is a “sacrifice.” In fact, she has said that her and Dear Buddy Billionaire Oprah are “sacrificing” their everything for the good of the children. Wow—I suppose it’s a coincidence that they are both Marxists from the same Chicago stomping ground?

The Chicago Olympics, which will enrich the city’s most powerful businessmen, is for the kids? Oh really? Is she doing it for 16-year-old Derrion Albert, an innocent kid who got beat to death with boards, feet, and fists by a gang of rabid animals while “Chicago’s finest” sat nearby in a squad car? Or is she doing it for all of those people—children and adults—who were slaughtered on the streets of Chicago in July’s bloodbath, in a city where peaceful humans are denied the right to defend their own lives?

As to the sacrifice argument, the thing about this is that no one believes this garbage anymore, no matter how much the adoring media harp on it and no matter what the spin put on it. All over the web, all you can find is one negative reaction after another in response to this laughable comment and its spin. Remember that Michelle spoke loudly upon being handed the Oval Office: “Someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that so that someone else can have more.” Her pie includes a McMansion full of chefs, butlers, gofers, dieticians, gardeners, limousine drivers, housemaids, and advisors. Then there are the full-time make-up artist, the $500+ sneakers that were worn at a food bank, and glamour clothes.

What were Chicago Mayor Richard Daley and the Obamas doing at the moment that Derrion Albert’s brutal death was being filmed for YouTube?
